MOBILE EXTRACTION SYSTEMS
This is the mobile system most commonly seen by the public, in as much as it resembles those most frequently used in pharmacies. The handling of the bases does not occur frontally to the loading aisle, but runs longitudinally as though the base itself were to be extracted. This system, when compared to the traditional COMPATTA system, optimises overall spaces less and is recommended when there is a wide, multipurpose front aisle or when, following the opening of the base, it is necessary to create a large space in front of the loading zone of the base. This is the case for mobile bases for storing reels of cable, which require considerable amounts of space in which to extend and measure the cable to be retrieved. Extraction systems are also recommended for bulky (e.g. pallets) or heavy products, as well as for smaller, lighter products. Radio controls for remote opening, storage system bar code operating SW and RF terminals are low cost, high output optional extras, whilst the essential H24 service comes as standard with every system. |
