LONG LENGHTS
Materials such as bars, pipe bundles, extruded or flat sections and panels come under the broad category of the so-called long items, usually stored on cantilever racking (shelving with arms and a central upright). Thanks to the use of the COMPATTA system of mobile bases, our systems avoid the wastage created by large numbers of aisles and optimising the space available. Existing cantilever shelving can be placed onto the bases, but where the intention is to create a new system it can be incorporated into the same base, resulting in savings in costs and height space.
Radio controls for remote opening, storage system bar code operating SW and RF terminals are low-cost, high-output optional extras, whilst the essential H24 service comes as standard with every system.
When it comes to smaller sized storage systems, the SILO system for storing long items may prove more appealing. The exploitation of height and the use of minimum floor space render this the ideal solution for managing inter-operational storage facilities operating along side work lines, as well as for the storage of raw materials and finished products.
The storage system operating SW and H24 service come as standard with each machine.
