Rubinetterie Condor, SILO² VLMs for “express” picking
THE COMPANY
Rubinetterie Condor is a company specializing in the production and distribution of components and accessories, both standard and customized, for coffee machine manufacturers. Founded in 1940, it directly markets its products throughout Europe, North Africa, China and the USA, producing both on order and in series.
THE LOGISTICS CHALLENGES
Over the years, the constant growth in demand together with the ever-increasing number of customized products, has made the management of items in stock for end customers more and more complex, due to an available area that was no longer able to contain everything.
THE SOLUTION
In order to face these critical issues, in 2018 the company decided to expand the production plant in Varallo Sesia (Vercelli, Italy) and equip it with 2 SILO² Vertical Lift Modules to exploit all the available space, increase operational efficiency and ensure better storage conditions for the different types of managed material.
