The critical issues to be solved in the new facility were:
\n\u2022 Small parts managed on traditional shelving: slow manual search, no structured traceability, and risk of errors on similar components, which is unacceptable in an aerospace production environment
\n\u2022 Long material storage: bundles of aluminum, copper and steel bars up to 6.5 m handled manually, with physically demanding operations, risk of material damage and limited traceability

\n The MAXI\u1d38 automated vertical storage system manages bundles of aluminum, copper and steel bars up to 6.5 meters long. The structure is 5.6 m high, with 33 drawers in two usable heights, 150 and 300 mm, and load capacity up to 1,000 kg each, in just 17.88 m\u00b2 of system footprint.
\r\nThe drawers are equipped with movable load-retaining bars that secure the bundles during every handling cycle, eliminating the risk of slipping when handling heavy, bulky materials.
