The modular design of the multi-column SILO^Plus storage system allows for every inch of available space to be optimized, even in environments with a complex layout, with low ceilings, multiple levels, with support pillars or even outside.

The ability to perfectly organise items within each tray enables the available space in the storage system to be fully exploited, providing a high level of accuracy and reducing access times. The trays are available in four different sizes, with a maximum load capacity of 100 kg, and are designed to fit Euro standard plastic boxes and containers. The boxes, which can be easily removed and carried around, respond perfectly to the storage and handling requirements of light-weight materials and small items and are designed to facilitate the flow of materials around the warehouse.

The possibility to position multiple side-by-side access openings as well as integration with IRIDE, our innovative, interactive, multimedia control system, means that SILO^Plus can offer fast, accurate order processing, because while the operator is involved in picking or storing operations in one access opening, the handling system continues with its next mission in the adjacent access openings, reducing or even eliminating waiting times for the operator. IRIDE guides the operator step-by-step through the picking and storage operations. A combination of coloured light beams, a digital dashboard and push-button panel in the access opening allow operators to move freely alongside the materials, without the need to change workstations during the most critical storage and retrieval operations.
