ICAM shares its approach to scalable intralogistics at Global Summit 2026

Event

ICAM will take part in the 2026 edition of the Global Summit Logistics & Supply Chain, an industry event held in Italy.

The event brings together logistics and supply chain professionals to exchange insights, experiences and real-world applications.

Within this context, Davide Cigna, Chief Sales Officer at ICAM, will present a session focused on how modular and scalable storage systems can support companies in managing complexity while enabling long-term growth.

Designing systems that evolve with the business

Every intralogistics project starts with a detailed analysis of space, flows, volumes and operational goals. ICAM’s approach is built around designing solutions that are not only effective from day one, but capable of evolving over time.

During the session, scheduled on May 20 at 5:00 PM, we will share real case studies and installed systems, showing how modular design enables progressive expansion, the integration of additional functionalities and continuous performance improvement.

This ability to adapt over time allows companies to align their intralogistics infrastructure with changing production needs, demand variability and business growth strategies.

A complete technology ecosystem

ICAM develops a wide range of automated storage solutions designed to address different types of materials, space constraints and operational requirements.

From vertical lift modules such as SILO², widely adopted across multiple industries, to horizontal automated systems like RIGO and mobile racking systems such as COMPATTA, up to the latest MAXI technology family dedicated to long and heavy items, ICAM provides a consistent and scalable ecosystem of technologies.

All systems are managed by ICON, ICAM’s proprietary software platform, designed to ensure seamless integration with existing IT architectures, including WMS, WCS, MES and ERP environments.

“Turning space into a driver of efficiency”

“We design modular and highly configurable systems that adapt to the layout and grow alongside our customers, even through progressive investments. Our goal is to turn space into a real driver of operational efficiency, supporting companies in a continuous path of evolution.”

From real applications to measurable results

Our participation in the Global Summit will be an opportunity to meet industry professionals and companies in person, share project experiences, and discuss specific needs related to the evolution of industrial logistics.

By sharing concrete case studies and project experiences, the session aims to provide practical insights for companies looking to improve efficiency, optimize space and build more resilient intralogistics systems.
