A growing presence across Asia-Pacific
After Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, ICAM’s international expansion reaches Australia. From June 23 to 25, 2026, ICAM will exhibit at CeMAT Australia, the leading trade show for intralogistics, robotics, automation, and supply chain management in the Asia-Pacific region, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Warehouse automation in Australia: a market with clear priorities
Australian manufacturers are investing in automation to solve three concrete operational challenges: finding and retaining workers for physically demanding tasks, making the most of increasingly scarce and expensive industrial space, and maintaining consistent throughput regardless of staffing levels.
These pressures — labor availability, space, and operational continuity — are reshaping how warehouses are designed and run across the country.
SILO² and IRIDE: designed to meet exactly these challenges
SILO², ICAM’s automated vertical lift module (VLM), addresses all three directly.
It recovers floor space by using vertical height instead of horizontal footprin: no layout overhaul needed, no wasted square metres. Materials come to the operator, not the other way around, reducing physical strain and making warehouse roles more sustainable over time.
IRIDE, ICAM’s integrated pick guidance system, takes care of the continuity side.
It guides operators through picking, refilling and inventory tasks with real-time visual instructions so accuracy doesn’t depend on seniority or experience. New staff get up to speed faster. The process stays consistent regardless of who is running it.
Local partner: Crossmuller
For the Australian market, ICAM has established a commercial partnership with Crossmuller, an Australian engineering and industrial automation company headquartered in Somersby. Crossmuller specializes in the design and delivery of complete turnkey automation solutions for manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations across the country.
Their focus on robotics, smart automation, and industrial IoT complements the way ICAM approaches system design: not automation as a principle, but automation that solves real operational problems and delivers measurable value over time.
The ICAM and Crossmuller teams will be at Booth IT2.
