News

A new chapter in the history of italian excellence

A new chapter has been added to the long history of ICAM, a company specialized in automated storage solutions based in the heart of Puglia, in Putignano (Bari), Italy.

As of today, the company is officially a S.p.A. (Società per Azioni, or joint-stock company).

The transformation from a limited liability company (Srl) to a joint-stock company (SpA) has been completed, and the new milestone was officially announced by Roberto Bianco, CEO of ICAM. In an official statement, he emphasized: “This change represents a significant step forward in our history, reflecting our continuous growth. As a SpA, ICAM will be able to attract further investments and enhance corporate governance”.

ICAM, founded in 1957 by Cav. Pietro Paolo Bianco, joined the AKSìA group last year with ambitious growth objectives in product range, particularly in the Italian and international markets. As of July 2024, the new milestone is the transformation into a SpA.

Over 60 years of history tell the story of a company that began as a manufacturer of office furniture and shelving and has increasingly become a key player in the market with its high-tech automated warehouses, capable of enabling new services and business models.
