The logistical challenges

Growing order volumes and the simultaneous management of B2C and B2B channels increased operational complexity.

The SILO² VLM stands 6 metres high and features three storage columns and two side-by-side picking/refilling stations. Positioned directly beside the shipping area, it streamlines the flow from picking to dispatch.
Within a footprint of just 23 m², the system stores more than 95 SKUs and approximately 9,000 items, including ceramic jars and extra virgin olive oil bottles.
This high-density configuration maximises storage capacity within an urban production site where physical expansion is not an option.
